The Town of Pound Ridge has several Boards and Commissions that play an integral part to keep the community active and safe, as well as a wonderful place to live.

The Town Board (4-year Term, 2-year for Supervisor) is Pound Ridge's legislative branch, responsible for administering the government, approving the budget and taxes, and appointing members

The Conservation Board was created to advise in the management and protection of natural resources of Pound Ridge.

 The Pound Ridge Conservation Board:

The Housing Board consists of seven members, appointed by the Town Board. The members are appointed for a seven-year term on an annually rotating basis. The appointment of the Chair is for one year. Its mission is administrative as well as visionary.

Planning Board

The Town of Pound Ridge has a history of requiring development that is environmentally sensitive and responsive to the long-term interest of its citizens.

The Recreation Commission meets at the Town House once a month on Tuesday evenings.

Wetlands

The Water Control Commission of the Town of Pound Ridge regulates local wetlands and areas around water.

Meetings are usually held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Town House. Call the Zoning Office at 914-764-3982 for specific dates. Deadline for submissions is on the Monday that is two weeks prior to the meeting.
