The Town Clerk is responsible for the care and custody of all official and vital records of the Town, attends and prepares minutes of all Town Board meetings, administers all municipal and special elections, responsible for all requests under Freedom of Information Laws, Registrar of Vital Statistics for birth, death and marriage records within the town; issues marriage licenses, dog licenses, fishing licenses, hunting licenses and handicapped parking permits. The Town Clerk approves and maintains all bills submitted for payment.
