The Pound Ridge Lions Volunteer Ambulance Corps is an all-volunteer team of about 20 members. Emergency Medical Technicians are trained in defibrillation (EMT-Ds). The Ambulance Corps has 2 ambulances, and is totally funded by contributions. New members and financial support are always needed and welcome.
Note that the Ambulance Corps offers free Blood Pressure testing on the first Saturday of every month in or in front of Scotts Corners Market.
This Ambulance Corps does NOT receive any Town or County Tax Funds.
This Ambulance Corps is funded mostly from tax-deductible contributions and is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
